knowing and doing

Sometimes it feels like we learn more than we can do. Have you ever had a feeling like you could resolve the problems of everyone around you, yet you still need help to resolve your own? It seams like sometimes our intelligence works separately from ourselves. It takes an almost out of body experience of looking at one self from the side to see the absurdity of our own actions or figure out the resolution to a problem. I guess we need to be our own best friends in order to apply what we preach.
